The Alliance for Collective Action convenes leaders of environmental and social movements to advance solutions for a thriving planet. We achieve our mission through the Alliance Center building and community, and through Collective Impact projects.

What is Regenerative?
Regeneration is about restoration, renewal, and healing.
Sustainability refers to maintaining and preserving. Anything can be sustained for a certain amount of time, including harmful systems. Regenerative practices work to heal damage caused by overconsumption and create new systems in balance with nature.
There are real, tangible ways to restore, renew, and heal people and the planet. We can shift to clean, renewable energy and support workers transitioning from industries that are no longer sustainable. Regenerative agriculture can nourish our soil and feed our communities, all while pulling carbon out of the atmosphere. We can pass laws that protect our planet and ensure everyone has a voice in shaping the policies that affect their lives. At The Alliance, we are committed to supporting these efforts, believing that every system—whether itʼs how we grow food, create energy, or build communities—can evolve to serve life in a better way. We must work together to achieve this transformation and create a future that benefits all.
